A SURVEY OF CONSUMER AND COMMERCIAL BANKRUPTCY

This CLE presented by Erica R. Aisner, Esq. will cover the basics of consumer and commercial bankruptcy, including the different Chapters (7, 13 and 11), key consumer concepts such as exempt property, dischargeable and non-dischargeable debts, and mortgage and judgment lien stripping. The CLE will also briefly discuss the mechanics of a business reorganization, sale or liquidation and recent changes to the law for small businesses.
